Standard disassembly air filter and throttle

1. Remove the air filter cover or housing and the air filter element from the air intake system.

2. Inspect the air filter for damage or excessive debris, and replace it if necessary.

3. Clean the air filter housing and surrounding areas with a soft-bristled brush and a mild detergent solution.

4. Rinse the filter housing and surrounding areas with clean water, and allow them to air dry completely.

5. Remove the throttle body cover or housing from the engine.

6. Use a throttle body cleaner and a soft-bristled brush to remove any dirt or carbon deposits from the throttle body and surrounding areas.

7. Wipe the throttle body clean with a rag, being careful not to damage any internal parts or sensors.

8. Reinstall the air filter element and housing or cover, and tighten all fasteners securely.

9. Reinstall the throttle body cover or housing, and tighten all fasteners securely.

10. Start the engine and check for proper operation and performance.
