Types of Air Compressor Parts

The air compressor parts produced by our company mainly include the following types:

01

Ingersoll Rand Solenoid Valve

A solenoid valve is an electrically controlled valve that uses an electromagnet (a solenoid) to open or close a valve body, thereby regulating the flow of a liquid or gas. When an electrical current is applied to the solenoid, it creates a magnetic field that either moves a plunger to open the valve or to close it, controlling the flow of fluid through the valve.

02

Ingersoll Rand Air Cylinder

An air cylinder, also known as a pneumatic cylinder, is a mechanical device that converts compressed air energy into linear motion. It's a key component in many systems, used for tasks like lifting, pushing, or clamping objects. These cylinders are available in different types, including single-acting and double-acting, and are used in various industries.

Ingersoll Rand Air Oil Separator

An air-oil separator, also known as an oil demister, is a device that removes oil from oil-infused air, typically in compressed air systems, engines, or vacuum pumps. It achieves this by using filters and baffles to separate the oil from the air, allowing the clean air to continue on and the oil to be returned to the system.

Ingersoll Rand Solenoid Valve

Ingersoll Rand Solenoid Valves have many advantages, including:
● Low energy use
● Remotely operated
● Cost-effective to maintain and service
● Compatible with AC and DC voltages
● Extremely fast open and shut times
● Capable of operating in extreme temperatures
● Safety external leakage block
● Operates both vertically and horizontally
● Solenoid valve applications are extremely diverse, thanks to their versatility.

Ingersoll Rand Air Cylinder

Ingersoll Rand Air Cylinders have many advantages, including:
● Simplicity and Reliability: One of the biggest advantages of pneumatic cylinders is their simplicity. They have fewer moving parts compared to other types of cylinders, which means there's less that can go wrong. This simplicity leads to high reliability and long life spans.
● Power and Speed: Pneumatic cylinders can generate significant force and speed, making them ideal for applications that require quick, powerful movements. They're like the sprinters of the cylinder world - quick off the blocks and powerful in performance.
● Cost-Effectiveness and Energy Efficiency: In terms of cost, pneumatic cylinders are generally more affordable than their hydraulic counterparts. They also tend to be more energy-efficient, as air is a more readily available and cheaper resource than hydraulic fluids.

Ingersoll Rand Air Oil Separator

Ingersoll Rand Air Oil Separators have many advantages, including:
● Improved performance: As the oil is filtered, the engine is protected, and therefore runs smoother. The oil is also recycled for better efficiency.
● Preventing unnecessary oil loss: If a vehicle is losing oil that could be recycled, then the efficiency of the vehicle is not being maximised, and the running costs will increase as a result. Air oil separators ensure that oil is repurposed effectively.
● Minimising oil-build up: One of the primary functions of the separator is to avoid the recirculation of oil into the cylinders, which clogs airflow and slows performance.

Steps to Install an Ingersoll Rand Air Oil Separator (Air Compressor Parts)

● Locate the PCV hoses.
● Mount the bracket for the AOS in an appropriate location near the PCV lines.
● Disconnect the PCV hoses.
● Remove the existing oil catch cans if there is one.
● Connect AOS to the PCV hoses. If there was no existing catch can, you may need to add a second hose.
● Connect the drain hose to the oil system.
● Mount the on the bracket.
● Reconnect the OCV hoses.

Precautions for Using Ingersoll Rand Solenoid Valve

When connecting the solenoid valve with the main valve, do not apply too much force, otherwise the five-hole aluminum sheet in the middle will be biased, causing the through hole to become smaller or sealed and unable to conduct.

In order to prevent internal parts from being damaged by heat, remove the valve body before welding. After welding, remove welding slag and oxides to prevent channel blockage.

The flange of the magnetic isolation sleeve and the valve seat of the pilot valve are sealed by sealing gaskets. When tightening the screws, the corners should be tightened. If the force is uneven, it will cause leakage.

The pipes at both ends are aligned, and the vertical connection ends are parallel, and they are positioned by spot welding to ensure the sealing of the solenoid valve.

Check and remove the burrs or dirt on the sealing line of the connecting part of the solenoid valve and the main valve, so as to avoid scratching the soft aluminum sheet and causing the seal to be weak.

Customization Options for Air Cylinders (Air Compressor Parts)

Stroke Length Adjustments

Customizing the cylinder’s stroke length allows for precise positioning in automated assembly and material handling.

Bore Size Variations

Larger bore sizes provide greater force output, making them ideal for heavy-duty applications.

Mounting Configurations

Different mounting styles (flange, foot, or pivot mounts) allow easy integration into existing machinery.

Corrosion-Resistant Materials

Stainless steel and anodized aluminum cylinders are available for harsh environments such as food processing and marine industries.

FAQ

Q: How does a solenoid valve work?

A: Solenoid valve function involves either opening or closing an orifice in a valve body, which either allows or prevents flow through the valve. A plunger opens or closes the orifice by raising or lowering within a sleeve tube by energising the coil. Solenoid valves consist of a coil, plunger and sleeve assembly.

Q: What are the basics of solenoid valves?

A: A solenoid valve can function to control the flow rate of a liquid. When used for this purpose, the valve may be able to operate quickly enough that varying the frequency at which the valve is energized also varies flow rate through the valve body. This technique is commonly referred to as Pulse Width Modulation (PWM).

Q: How do you control a solenoid valve?

A: Electrical signals are central to the automatic control of solenoid valves. These signals, typically in the form of DC or AC voltage, energize the solenoid coil and create a magnetic field that moves the plunger or actuator inside the valve.

Q: How do I choose a solenoid valve?

A: There are five main parameters to consider when selecting a valve: Cv, media compatibility, pressure, temperature, and process fitting.

Q: Does it matter which way you connect a solenoid valve?

A: They will work in any direction but it is best practice to have it upright if possible.

Q: What is the first thing to check if a solenoid valve fails to open?

A: Check to make sure there is adequate power to the solenoid circuit. If there isn't, restoring it and resetting the solenoid may fix the issue. If power isn't the problem, check the alignment of the valve. If the valve was previously forced open or has failed, misalignment may be preventing it from closing again.
