Step 1 . Engine ShutdownTurn off the tractor or vehicle engine, engage the emergency brake, and allow the machinery compartment to cool down completely.
Step 2 . Access the Air BoxRelease the outer perimeter latches or retaining wing nuts securing the plastic or metal air cleaner housing cover and remove the lid.
Step 3 . Remove the Old ElementGently pull the spent air filter element out of the primary housing cylinder. Take care not to knock loosened dirt deeper into the intake pipe.
Step 4 . Clean the Internal HousingUse a clean, damp, lint-free cloth to thoroughly wipe down dust and sand residues accumulated inside the filter casing and seating face.
